Ed McCaffrey is a former professional American football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League for thirteen seasons.NFL wide receiver, Ed McCaffrey started his career with the New York Giants in 1991 and played college football at Stanford University. Ed McCaffrey accomplished his career with 565 career receptions for 7,422 yards and 55 touchdowns while wearing the number 87. Ed McCaffrey underwent a leg fracture while playing a Monday Night Football game with Broncos against Giants. He also had a disappointed 2003 season due to the broken legs which pushed him to take a retirement from the NFL on February 29, 2004.
