American National ice hockey player and the alternate captain for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League, Dustin Byfuglien has played both as forward and defense in his career despite being drafted as a defenseman. Active since 2005, Byfuglien has had a successful career so far with no signs of fading away from professional ice hockey.

Dustin Byfuglien and Emily Hendrick have three children together: Kira, Kai, and Theo. All of them were born in Winnipeg. Kira was born on December 28,  2011. The six-year-old Kira loves her mother which is shown in her school work.

She weighed about seven pounds when she was born. Because of his lower-body injury, he was at home and got to spend a lot of time with his daughter. Kai Byfuglien was born in 2015. Dustin's youngest child, Theo, was born in August of 2017. He was six pounds. The Byfuglien children seem to be surrounded by joy. Their parents have done their best to give them the optimal environment, even spending a lot of money to make their room decor look kid-friendly.
