Devin Clark was born on 21st April 1990 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States. His birth sign is. Furthermore, he holds an American nationality, having a white ethnic background.
As a kid, he started boxing and began wrestling in high school. While in his junior year, he lost to former UFC athlete David Michaud in the State Finals match. Likewise, in his senior year, he became the South Dakota Champion at 189 lbs.
Upon high school graduation, Clark enrolled at Rochester Tech where he captures the Junior College National Championship at 184 lbs in 2009. The following year, he lost in semifinals to Josh Marsh.
After Clark was done with wrestling, he chose MMA as his career path. He made his amateur MMA career debut at SD Total Combat on 30th October 2010. He won the fight via TKO in round one. Following this, he would compile an undefeated record of 4-0.
On 4th August 2013, Clark made his professional MMA career debut at Knockout Events: battle at the Chip, where he defeated Jeremy Spelts via TKO. He next faced Aaron Brown at RFA 17 and again set his victory via TKO but this time on round two.
On 7th February 2015, Clark had a bout against William Vincent at Total Fight Challenge. He won the fight via submission. He then went to compete at RFA where he recorded three consecutive wins against Jaquis Williams, Dervin Lopez, and Rafael at RFA 25, 29 and 37 respectively.
On 13th July 2016, Clark made his UFC debut against Alex Nicholson at UFC Fight Night: McDonald vs. Lineker. He lost the fight via KO in round one. In the following bout, he faced Josh Stansbury at The Ultimate Fighter: Tournament of Champion Finale and recorded his first UFC victory.
On 15th April 2017, Clark fought against Jake Collier at UFC on Fox: Johnson vs. Reis. He won the fight via unanimous decision. Similarly, he faced Jan Blachowicz at UFC Fight Night: Cerrone vs. Till on 21st October 2017. He lost the fight via rear-naked choke in the round two.
Rebounding from the loss, Clark returns to fight at UFC 223, where he defeated Mike Rodriguez in the 3rd Round.
Devin Clark is married to his high school sweetheart, Megan Clark. The two tied the knot on 9th June 2018 in a secret ceremony. The couple is blessed with a baby girl named, Eden Marie whom they welcomed on 2nd November 2013.
Apart from his love life, he is active in aiding numerous nonprofit and those less fortunate. Especially, he is involved in advocating for those that have Down Syndrome. Furthermore, he uses the cage to voice his Down Syndrome Awareness as well as Advocacy campaign to save the unborn Down syndrome child from abortion. Recently, he was appointed to the National Board of Garrets Fight.
