Career

In the 1999 WNBA draft, Milton-Jones was picked 4th overall by the Los Angeles Sparks. Further, she played for Los Angeles Sparks (1999–2004), UMMC Ekaterinburg (2002–2003), Washington Mystics (2005–2007), Gambrinus Brno (2005–2006), Ros Casares Valencia (2006–2008 and 2008–2009), Los Angeles Sparks (2008–2012), San Antonio Silver Stars (2013), New York Liberty (2013–2014), and Atlanta Dream (2014-2015).

In September 2016, Miton-Jones officially announced her retirement.

Farewell Tribute to DeLisha Milton-Jones

Later, she took on coaching as her career and became the second woman after Ashley McElhiney to coach a men's professional basketball team when, in 2005, she took over the ABA's Los Angeles Stars.

Further, she became the head coach of Pepperdine Waves women's basketball, replacing Ryan Weisenberg on March 29, 2017.
