Dan Patrick was born by his name Daniel Patrick Pugh on May 15, 1956, in Zanesville, Ohio, United States. He is an American by his nationality and his ethnicity is white. He is the son of Patricia Pugh and John Pugh.

He also has a brother Bill Pugh is working as a program director for the Sporting News Radio Network.

Before landing his steps at ESPN, he worked for several popular networks. From the year 1989-2006, he served as an anchor at ESPN’s Sports Center with popular ESPN figure Keith Olbermann. Moreover, he also hosted a show named The Dan Patrick Show. The show got started on 13th September 1999 and still, it is one of the most popular shows in the United States. He has achieved a huge name and fame from this show.

After he left ESPN he signed a new contract Chicago-based Content Factory. He also the co-host of NBC’s Football Night in America and works as a senior writer for sports illustrated. He has worked for 18 years with ESPN.

Dan Patrick is a married man. He got married to his wife Susan. He met her when he served at CNN where Susan was the producer of CNN’s Inside Politics. Since getting married to till date, the lovely couple is extremely happy in their married life.

This couple has four children including three daughters named Grace, 8; Georgia, 6 and Mollye, 3 and a son named Jack, 9. Dan loves to spend most of his time with his wife and children.

Unfortunately, his father died of cancer when Dan Patrick was 25 and he took all the responsibility that raised him. 

Dan Patrick is Baptist within his religion. He is also engaged within the government website of the country. He has been honored with numerous awards and rewards, for his outstanding contribution in the field of journalism. He has appeared twice in music videos.
