Cristiane Justino Venancio or famously known as Cris Cyborg is a Brazilain American Mixed Martial Arts Fighter. She is currently signed to the UFC under the featherweight division. She made her professional debut in  2005 and has been  Strikeforce  Women's Featherweight Championship, Invicta  FC  World  Featherweight Champion as well as UFC  Featherweight Champion.

As of 2018, her net worth is estimated $5 million. Regarding her personal life, she was married to MMA fighter Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos. Currently, she is engaged to Ray Elbe. 

Cris Cyborg Bio and Early Career

Cris Cyborg was born as Cristiane Justino Venâncio on  9 July 1985, in Curitiba, Brazil. Her star sign is Cancer. As per nationality, he is Brazilian and her ethnic background is unknown. She was raised alongside her sibling, Rafel  Justino by their parents. 

Cyborg was interested in the sports field since his early days and was a national-level team handball player in Brazil.  Later she opts to set up her career in MMA and trained under Rudimar Fedrigo, Chute Box Academy trainers.

Chris Cyborg Professional Career

Chris Cyborg began her career at Chute Boxe Academy, where she gained a reputation as one of the toughest women in the academy. In  26th July 2008, she made her debut against Shayna Baszler during EliteXC: Unfinished Business. She won the match in the second round.

After competing for various MMA promotions around the globe, she went on to sign with the American MMA promotion, Ultimate Fighting Championships in March 2015.

Her debut match came against Blue belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Leslie Smith and won her very first match at the UFC. She later took on Tonya Evinger at the UFC  214-Cormier Vs Jones 2 for the vacant UFC Women's Featherweight Championship, on July 29,2017, and won via TKO at the third round of the bout.

Chris most famous match came against Holly Holm at the UFC  219 -Cyborg Vs Holm on December 30, 2017. She won the fight via a unanimous decision in the fifth round.

On 3rd March 2018, she defeated former Invicta bantamweight champion  Yana Kunitskaya, at UFC 22 via TKO in round 1.  However, Cyborg was defeated by Amanda Nunes UFC 232, on December 29, 2018, and Lost the UFC Women's Featherweight Championship. Her next fight is yet to announce. 

Chris Cyborg Personal Life

The Brazilain MMA athlete, Chris Cyborg stands at a height of 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs around 65 kg. She has a reach of  68 inches which she uses to her maximum effect during her matches against her opponents.

Moving towards her love life, she was previously married to her husband, Evangelista Santos. The duo met during a training session at the Chute Boxe Academy in the early years of her career. They dated years before tying the knot in 2005. 

However, the couple could not carry their relationship well and ended up divorcing in 2011. After divorce with her ex-husband, Cris Cyborg is in a relationship with boyfriend, Ray Elbe. 

The couple is now engaged and she according to several sources and reports have decided to adopted a baby girl whose aged is 12 but the name has not been revealed.
