Cris Cyborg Responds to Dana White’s “Afraid” Comments, "[He’s] never stepped in the cage" MMA

A new way of promoting fights or something other- the relationship between UFC President Dana White and the former UFC Women's Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg doesn't seem to be going well.

After Dana commented that Cyborg was scared to accept the rematch against the current champion Amanda Nunes, Cyborg has recently responded.

You think I’m surprised when Dana says things like this? I’m not. I’m gonna be surprised if Dana White says something nice for me. It’s not new for me. And just challenge, I go over there and do my best."

Cyborg said.

"Dana White’s never stepped in the cage. He never fights before, he doesn’t know the fighter life because he’s the promoter."

Cyborg was knocked out cold at UFC 232 by Nunes on the first round. Nunes also became the double division champion after the win.

But when asked about her thoughts on the rematch against Nunes, Cyborg said:

“I fight Saturday and after Saturday, for sure I’m going to ask any question the media has for me,” she said. “I think I have to it a step at a time, focus now on Saturday, my next fight, and my fans know who I am. My fans know if I’m scared. I’m going to get out of this fight [at UFC 240] and then talk to media.”

Cyborg will face Felicia Spencer on Saturday night at UFC 240 in Edmonton, Canada.
