Conor McGregor shows interest in title fight at 170 with Kamaru Usman MMA

Conor McGregor created history, becoming the first UFC fighter to hold the belt in two different weight classes simultaneously three years ago. And now, if we are not mistaken, he is looking forward to becoming the UFC's first fighter with a different record which very few might have thought of- become UFC's first-ever three-division champion.

With a complicated tweet, the Notorious has hinted that he is eying on the Welterweight title. The former lightweight champion hinted a title bout vs Kamaru Usman through a tweet after ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ defended his title against Colby Covington at UFC 245.

“145. 155. 170,” McGregor wrote.

The Irishman earlier hinted about the same case ahead of the UFC 245 main event through another tweet that read:

""Good luck to our athletes competing tonight at UFC 245. I’ve a keen interest in this event. From potential future opponents, to potential future clients, to finally just from a fan standpoint. Excited to see it unfold. Good luck men! Catch it live and direct on ESPN+ tonight!"

McGregor is scheduled to make his return to the Octagon on January 18 with a bout against Donald Cerrone. The fight will be a Welterweight contest headlining the UFC 246 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
