While the UFC president Dana White has already ended the talks about a potential bout between former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor and Jorge Masvidal, there are still talks that the match is still possible at 170.
Former Interim Welterweight champ and Masvidal's friend Colby Covington supported Dana's statement and mocked that Conor is too small for Masvidal while hile insulting current welterweight champ Kamaru Usman.
“He would piece up Conor for sure,” Covington said. “No doubt about it. Conor’s too small. He’s a little guy and you know, this and that. So, that’s that, but you know, 170, we’re not talking about that, we’re talking about Marty Fakenewsman and we’re talking about that receding hairline that he has."

McGregor has not made any comments on Masvidal but Dana revealed that the Irishman didn't like his statement about Masvidal being too big for him. Conor is set to make his return in October.
