Coach John Kavanagh on Conor McGregor: "This is the best I've seen him" MMA

Conor McGregor has alot of mouths to shut on his return to the Octagon against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 on January 18. During his final day of sparring session on January 1, his longtime coach and SBG owner John Kavanagh revealed that the former champ champ is in the best shape of his career.

While the Notorious is preparing for the third fight at the Welterweight division, the team ended the training in Dublin and will now move to LAs Vegas.

“Jan 1st, last heavy spar today before going to Vegas,” Kavanagh wrote on Twitter. “Can honestly say this is the best I’ve seen him and I wasn’t sure that was possible to do six months ago.

“You guys are in for a real treat, I’m just glad to have a good seat!”

Kavanagh tweeted.

The UFC president Dana White recently revealed that this was Conor's decision to fight at 170 as he is preparing to appear in the Octagon three times in 2020 due to which he doesn't want the more weight cuts.

White also revealed that the Notorious has the desire to fight the BMF champion Jorge Masvidal but believes is a bad idea.
