2012-2014

In 2012 Clint joined senior Elan Chalon team of LNB Pro A. In addition to that, he represented the World Team at the 2014 Nike Hoop Summit. In the meantime, he declared for the 2014 NBA draft. Besides on May 2014, Clint was named the Best Young Player and also the Most Improved Player of 2013-14 LNB Pro A Season.

Houston Rockets career 2014-15

On July 2014, he joined Clint signed the contract with Rockets. Also, he had season-best game for the Rockets with 10 points and five rounds in the win over the Charlotte Hornets. In addition to that, he appeared more in playoff games rather than regular seasons.

2015-16

On November 6, 2015, he recorded his first career double with then career heights of 13 points and 12 rebounds as a starter in a 116-110 win over the Sacramento Kings.

2016-17

2017-18

Furthermore, Capela had his 22 points and matched his career high with 17 rebounds in a 105-100 win over Sacramento Kings on October 18, 2017. On February 9, 2018, he recorded23 points and a career-high 25 rebounds in a 130-104 win over Denver Nuggets. Later on, Clint became the Youngest Rocket to have at least 23 points and 25 rebounds. Also, he was runner-up for the NBA Most Improved Player Award in 2017-2918 after averaging career highs of 13.9 points.

2018-19

As a matter of fact that, after the 2017-18 season Clint became the restricted free agent. In the July of 2018, he signed over a 5-years $90 million dollars contract extension with Rockets.
