Chris Iannetta MLB Career

Soon after ending his University career, Chris Iannetta was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 2004 Major League Baseball draft and later made major league debut in 2006. Iannetta scored 1st career hit against San Diego Padres' Jake Peavy on  August 27, 2006.

After the 2010 season, he was traded for Tyler Chatwood to  Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on November 30, 2011, and played there for three seasons for Angels. Later on, after ending his contract with Los Angeles, Chris joined the Seattle Mariners on November 23, 2015.

In addition to this, he also played for Arizona Diamondbacks in 2017 where due to the hit by Johnny Barbato, he suffered injuries. Soon after the incident, he signed a two-year contract with the Colorado Rockies again in December 2017.
