Brendan Schaub believes Nate Diaz is more popular among the fans than Conor McGregor MMA

While UFC megastar Conor McGregor hasn't done anything recently that could make in increase his popularity among the fans, his rival Nate Diaz has extended his fame making his highly-awaited comeback against Anthony Pettis at UFC 241.

Diaz outperformed Anthony Pettis to register unanimous decision in a co-main bout at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The 34-year-old has been trending on YouTube and social media ever since.

The former UFC heavyweight contender turned podcast host and comedian Brendan Schaub believes fans had enough of McGregor’s antics and shifted over to the Diaz army.

“I think now because what Conor’s doing we’re all like, ‘alright man, we’re out. And then Nate Diaz somehow gone from heel to [face] and we’re like, we’re rooting for him. We want him to get paid, we want to see him fight big fights. Yeah, you’re kinda like, ‘holy f*ck. Nate Diaz is the good dude here.’ Just because of what Conor, all the shenanigans he’s done. And for me to go, ‘dude I can’t defend you’ is a truckload.”

Schaub said in an interview with Below the Belt.

McGregor was also criticized after video footage of him punching an elderly man in the bar was released recently.
