Former ONE and Bellator champion Ben Askren faced the first loss of his career at UFC 239 against Jorge Masvidal and it has been proved to be quite expensive for the title shot. Masvidal went on to call out the champion Kamaru Usman for the title match. However, the UFC seems to be interested in Colby Covington who put up a great show in his victory over Robbie Lawler.
Soon after his unanimous decision win over Robbie, Chaos called out the welterweight champion Usman. During the post-fight interview, Colby and Usman had verbal war.
Askren somehow found a way to throw a dig at the two men by using his own loss to Masvidal.

Askren is expected to face Demian Maia but the date has not been scheduled. The two have often mentioned October 24 during their verbal exchange.
