Bellator double champion Patricio ‘Pitbull’ roasts Conor McGregor on three-year anniversary of his Champ Champ Day MMA

Conor McGregor declared November 13 as “World Champ Champ” day- the day being the third anniversary of his impressive knockout win over Eddie Alvarez that made him the first-ever simultaneous UFC double division champion.

That win is McGregor's last win in the octagon to date.

Since then several fighters have gone to claim the Champ Champ title and the latest is Bellator’s Patricio “Pitbull” Freire who defeated Michael Chandler and became the lightweight and featherweight champion. The Bellator's champ champ responded to the UFC's former champ champ tweet and claimed him of being sh**ty champ champ.

“Says the sh**ty champ champ who didn’t have the balls to defend either title after years of criticizing fighters for not doing so, then made an embarrassment of himself and the sport every day since."

Pitbull tweeted.

The Notorious doesn't hold any belt at the moment. He gave up the featherweight title shortly after he won the lightweight title. Later, he was stripped of the lightweight title for his inactivity. He is scheduled to return to the octagon in early 2020- the first time since his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018.
