Andres Guardado was born on 28 September in 1986 as Jose Andres Guardado Hernandez in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He was keenly interested in the football since he was a child. Growing in the Jalisco, he joined Atlas Club in August 2005. After some months he was invited to the state side of Mexico for his first international match in opposition to Hungary.

Andres successfully established himself on the international stage and spread his talent all over the world. He first played against the United States assisting it to turn towards Mexican's favor ending the game with a 0-2 win.
