Alan has played at the youth team of Russia and has made his international debut in 2008 for the senior Russian side. He has represented Russia at the UEFA Euro 2012 and 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Alan Dzagoev was born on 17 June 1990 in Belgian, North Ossetia Alania, the Soviet Union modern-day Russia.
