On 10th April 2015, McKee made his professional MMA career and promotional debut at Bellator 136. He kissed the victory in his first pro bout, defeating his opponent Marcos Bonilla via submission due to a rear-naked choke in the round one.
He next faced James Barnes at Bellator 141. He won the fight via KO punches.
In his third fight for the promotion, McKee faced J.T. Donaldson and defeated him in the round one via KO.
McKee started 2016, fighting against Danilo Belluardo at Bellator 152 in England. He won the fight via TKO in the round one. In the same year, he amassed two more wins against Cody Walker and Ray Wood at Bellator 160 and Bellator 166, respectively.
