Ahmad Al Salih was born on 20th of May 1989, in Amuda, Syria. He holds a Syrian nationality. He started his football journey, playing for Syrian Premier League club Al-Jaish at the age of nineteen.
Salih spent 5 years with the Al-Jaish and then moved to Al-Shorta Damascus in 2013. After a short spell with the club, he switched to Al-Arabi signing a two-year contract. From 2013-15, he made total 52 appearances and scored 2 goals for the club.
In 2015, Salih signed to Al-Shorta Baghdad. After a year, he switched to Al-Muharraq and then moved to Al-Arabi where he made his appearance in three league games.

From 2005-07, Al Salih played for the Syrian U-17 national team and was a part of “2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup team” held in South Korea, where he played against Honduras, Spain, and Argentina in the group stage.
Since 2008, Al Salih is in the Syria national team. He was picked to Valeriu Tita’s 23-man final team for the “2011 AFC Asian Cup” in Qatar; however, he didn’t appear in any of the 3 Syrian group games.
