Addison Devon Reed, celebrated as Addison Reed, is an American baseball pitcher by profession. He can currently be seen playing for the New York Mets at Major League Baseball (MLB). He started his career as the team member of Chicago White Sox (2011-13) where he was drafted in the in the 3rd round of the 2010 amateur draft. Though, his first game was in 2011. Later, in 2013, he was traded to Arizona Diamondbacks (2013-2014) for Matt Davidson. He was again traded in 2015 to New York Mets for Miller Diaz (minors) and Matt Koch (minors). The player with No. 43 has a very good statistics of 4.01 earned run average, 258 strikeouts, and 105 saves. He has a record of 12 wins and 16 losses till date.
Reed was born on 27th December, 1988 at Montclair, California, United States. He is the son of Scott and September Reed and the brother of Austin Reed who is also a baseball player.
