After two consecutive losses, Aleksei Oleinik has picked up a win at UFC 246 against Maurice Greene at T- Mobile Arena, Las Vegas. He defeated Greene via submission in the second round which is the 6th of his UFC career while taking the tally to 46 in his MMA career.
Oleinik is close to making a record number of submission in the Heavyweight division of the UFC held by Frank Mir with 8 submissions.

“They don’t want to wrestle with me but I do everything that I can.", Oleinik said after the match.
The Ukrainian-born Russian mixed martial artist attempted the takedown soon after the bell rang and also tried his famous Ezekiel chokes which Greene resisted. While avoiding Greene's strikes, Aleksei weathered the storm and eventually secured the takedown. He then held Greene's belly and did not let him escape.
The former Ultimate Fighter contender tapped out to avoid further damage to his arm.
