Professional MMA fighter, Nikita Krylov is a Ukrainian of Russian heritage mixed martial artist who currently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, where he competes in the light heavyweight division. He was the first Ukrainian who competed in the UFC. He also competed for M-1 global. As of Nov 21, 2016, he ranked eighth in the official UFC light heavyweight rankings. Early Career
On July 27, 2012, Nikita Krylov made his debut at West Fight 4 in Donetsk, Ukraine. He defeated Alexander Umrikhin via TKO in the second round. After defeating Alexander Umrikhin, he won eleven more matches in the next five months (10 submissions, 1 TKO), before losing against to Vladimir Mischenko on Dec 29 at Oplot Challenge 22.
UFC Career
With an outstanding record of 15-2, Nikita Krylov landed his steps at UFC in 2013. On August 31, 2013, at UFC 164, he made his debut against the Soa Palelei and lost the fight via TKO in the third round. On January 25, 2014, at UFC on Fox 7, he competed against Walt Harris and won the fight via TKO. On May 8, 2016, he fights excellently against the Francimar Barroso at UFC Fight Night 87. He won the fight by submissions in the second round. On Dec 10, 2016, he faced Misha Cirkunov at UFC 206 where he lost the fight via submission in the third round. He has an MMA record of 21 wins in 26 matches. His wins include eight knockouts and four were by submissions.
