Marilyn Nault was a Jewelry saleswoman as well as a businesswoman, Marylin was also the third wife of the famous basketball player Late Bill Russell. Nault's husband, Bill Russell, was already divorced by two other women, Rose Swisher and Dorothy Anstett. From an unseen perspective, Marylin Nault seemed like she would be Bill's last wife, but fortune didn't favor her.

Marylin Nault was born on January 14, 1950, in Kansas, U.S. She grew up with her four brothers, Phil Nault, Kyle Nault, James Nault, and Eric Nault. Marylin went to catholic elementary and secondary school. Marylin used to sell jewelry before meeting with the legendary basketball player. Bill Russell had already ended his relationship with two other women but Bill seemed like he was ready for her. The statement by the University of San Francisco goes like this,” I join with the entire University community in offering Bill Russell our sympathy and condolences, along with our prayerful support at this moment of profound loss.”

Nault's husband, Bill Russell, also died on July 31, 2022, in Mercer Island, Washington. According to reports, Russell's cause of death was his old age.

Bill was enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1975. After his retirement, the Boston Celtics retired his jersey number 6 on March 12, 1972. Bill proceeded to do commentary on basketball channels.
