Malcolm Brogdon is an American professional basketball player playing for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Wearing jersey number 13, he plays as a point guard and shooting guard. Besides, Brogdon played college basketball for the Virginia Cavaliers under Tony Bennett.

Malcolm Moses Adams Brogdon was born on December 11, 1992, to his parents, Jann Adams and Mitchell G. Brogdon. He is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. His father, Mitchell G. Brogdon, is an American judge and television personality. Likewise, Mitchell is famous for being the presiding judge of the court show Personal Injury Court.

Regarding his education, Mitchell went to Oberlin College and earned his Bachelor of Arts in 1983. After that, he went to Indiana University and received his Juris Doctor in 1986. Since 2016, Malcolm has been playing in the NBA. The Milwaukee Bucks drafted him in the 2016 NBA draft with the 36th overall pick. On July 30, 2016, Bucks and Brogdon signed a deal. Malcolm scored a career-high 22 points in a 107-101 loss to the Washington Wizards on January 8, 2017. 

After having an impressive career at the Bucks, Brogdon signed with the Indiana Pacers on July 6, 2019. While being a prominent member of the Pacers team, Brogdon received an offer to play for another team. So, on July 9, 2022, he was traded to the Boston Celtics in exchange for multiple players, including Aaron Nesmith, Daniel Theis, and Malik Fitts.

Being a professional NBA player, Brogdon has played in many games and has also faced some injuries. During his college year, Brogdon suffered a severe foot injury. On February 2, 2018, Brogdon was ruled out for six to eight weeks after having a partially torn left quadriceps tendon.

Malcolm returned to action on April 9, 2018, following a 30-game absence. In March 2019, he again faced a plantar fascia tear in his right foot. However, Brogdon returned to action late in the second round of the playoffs.
