Julius Erving

Julius Erving is an American professional basketball player who mainly occupied the forward position and was known for his beautiful dunks and slam dunks. He played in the NBA for over sixteen seasons and scored 30,026 Points. 

Julius Erving was born on February 22, 1950, in East Meadow, Long Island, New York, and was raised in the nearby town of Hempstead. He moved to Roosevelt, New York, as a teenager and attended Roosevelt High School. He stands 6 feet and 6 inches tall.

Erving was previously married to Turquoise Erving in 1972. After 31 years of a long relationship, they both separated in 2003. They togetherly had two children; a son named Cory and a daughter named Alexandra. Sadly, after 19 years of age, their son died due to accidental drowning in a car. 

Julius began dating Dorys, and the couple tied and promised togetherness. Madden and Erving also took in Alexandra Stevenson, the daughter of Jules from his first wife.

Julius played for various teams, including the  NY Nets and Virginia Squires (Teams of the American Basketball Association). After the merger with NBA(National Basketball Association), he was traded to the 76ers.
