John Stockton

John Stockton is a former professional American NBA player. He is ten times NBA All-Star (1989-1997, 2000) and NBA All-Star Game MVP (1993). He played as a point guard for Utah Jazz in his entire NBA Career (1984-2003). He is regarded as one of the best point guards in the history of the NBA. 

John Stockton was born John Houston Stockton, on March 26, 1962, in Spokane, Washington, USA. He completed his high school at Gonzaga Preparatory School, Spokane, in 1980. He attended college at Gonzaga University and graduated in 1984. Shortly after graduating, he nominated himself for the NBA draft in 1984. He was selected by Utah Jazz in the 1st round and overall 16th pickup.

John Stockton was born to Clementine Stockton and Jack Stockton. He has a sibling whose name is not yet disclosed. He got married to Nada Stepovich in the year 1986.

The Stockton couple has a total of six children, two daughters, Lindsay and Laura, and four sons, Houston, Michael, David, and Samuel. His two sons, Michael and David, are both professional basketball players.

David plays for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA G League, whereas Michael plays for Elan Bearnais Pau-Orthez. He played college basketball for Westminster College. 

David competes in the NBA G League for Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Michael, on the other hand, represents Elan Bearnais Pau-Orthez. He was a basketball player on his college team at Westminster College.

Nada is the daughter of Mike Stepovich, who served as the last territorial governor of Alaska. She was born among twelve siblings. Her mother, Matilda, died in November 2003, and her father died in February 2014.

His average player statistics are 13.1 PPG, 2.7 RPG,  and 10.5 APG. Karl Malone is one of his biggest supporters and teammates while playing for the Jazz. 

Although after his retirement in 2003 from the NBA, Stockton didn't stay further from professional basketball. Stockton began his professional coaching in the Montana State team. He coached the team for just a year, from 2015 to 2016. He was an assistant coach at Montana State.
