Conor Vs Khabib: Dana White Announces a couple of press conferences ahead of UFC 229 MMA

UFC president Dana White has recently revealed that there will more press conference for the main event match ahead of the UFC 229. Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov will face each other for the lightweight title in a highly awaited match.

Since the official announcement of the highly anticipated bout at the 25th-anniversary press conference of UFC, the management has not been able to promote the fight due to both the fighters involved in training.

 

 

Despite that, Dana was confident that the event “will do 2-million PPV buys.” Talking to Aaron Bronsteter of ESPN recently, the UFC president revealed his plans of a couple of press conferences ahead of UFC 229.

“There’s gonna be a couple press conferences, we are gonna get through this [UFC 228] then we will announce all the stuff that’s going on with Conor and Khabib.”

White said. He also was positive about organizing world tour similar that of McGregor Vs Mayweather for promotion but told that the fighters have no time and need more training.

“No, nothing like that. We should have, but there wasn’t enough time. This is the toughest fight in both of their careers, and these guys need time to train and get ready for this fight.”

he added.

The UFC 229 will take place on October 6 at T- Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Conor will try to take back his title which he l=never lost while Khabib will be looking for the first title defense match.
