Cypress, Texas native, Colton Cowser was born on 20th March 2000, under the star sign Aries. The twenty-one years old holds an American nationality and is of white ethnic background.
Cowser finished his high school baseball career playing for the Cypress Ranch High School in Cypress, Texas. During his senior year, he earned all-state honors after batting .411 with 38 RBIs and thirty stolen bases in 2018. That season, he was not picked in the 2018 MLB Draft and thus joined sam Houston State University to play college baseball.
As a freshman at Sam Houston State, Cowser was immediately placed into the starting lineup and hit .361 with seven home runs, 54 RBIs, and nine stolen bases over 56 games in 2019. That season, he won the Southland Conference Hitter of the Year. Further, he earned a Freshman All-American by multiple media outlets.
In his Sophomore season, Cowser earned a spot on the Team USA Collegiate National Team. Following his .438 batting with six runs, he won the Most Valuable Player of the 2019 USA vs Cuba Friendship Series.
He played 14 games in the 2020 season before the remainder of the games was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He slashed .374/.490/.680 with 16 home runs and 52 RBIs over 55 games as a junior in 2021.
