Seyi Ajirotutu is an American football player who was born on June 12, 1987, in El Dorado Hills, California. He is a wide receiver and special teamer and currently is a free agent of the National Football League. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the San Diego chargers in 2010. He is the son of Wilma Ajirotutu and Leke Ajirotutu. He has a brother whose name is Toyin Ajirotutu and a sister whose name is Yemi Ajirotutu.
Ajirotutu attended Oak Ridge High School in his hometown in 2001 and was selected to the first team all-league as a defensive back after making 70 tackles and picking off five passes as a junior. He caught 77 passes for 1,205 yards and 17 touchdowns leading all divisions in the Sac- Joaquin section as a senior during the 2004-2005 seasons. He was selected as the most valuable player on the Sacramento bee all-metro team at the end of the season after leading Oak Ridge to the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II championship. He was not selected in the 2010 NFL draft but joined the team shortly after as an undrafted free agent. On November 7, 2010, he had a breakout game during week 9 when he caught 4 catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns in the chargers win over the Houston Texans. He has also played for Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers. He was claimed off waivers by the Carolina Panthers on September 4, 2011. He was signed by the Chargers again on October 29, 2012, after Richard Goodman was put on injured reserve for the remainder of the season. He was re-signed by the San Diego Chargers on August 16, 2013. The Philadelphia Eagles signed him to a one-year contract on April 7, 2015.
