Ray Michael McCallum, Jr., celebrated as Ray McCallum, Jr., is an American basketball player by profession who plays in the position of point guard in the National Basketball Association (NBA) tournaments. He was born on June 12, 1991 at Madison, Wisconsin. He is the son of Ray McCallum who was also a former basketball player and head coach for various universities and Wendy McCallum. He has a sister named Brittany McCallum.
Ray started his high school career from Bloomington High School where he spent his 2 years. Later, he shifted to Detroit Country Day School for his final two years where he led his team to a state championship. He further joined University of Detroit Mercy and became a player member of the college’s basketball team. He started his professional career in 2013 where he was selected by Sacramento Kings with the 36th pick overall. Currently, he is plays for Memphis Grizzlies since 2016.
