Barbara Jean Blank was born in Jacksonville, Florida in January 15, 1987. She is an American by nationality. Blank was keen on gymnastics and was a fan of wrestling from an early age. Stone Cold Steve Austin was her favorite wrestler. Blank used to participate in gymnastics until she got an injury that forced her to quit gymnastics. She started training with "Ohio Valley Wrestling" when she was 20 and started her career as a professional wrestler with WWE.
Blank studied journalism as she had an aim of becoming a television anchor before she entered the field of wrestling. Blank was signed by WWE in 2006 and then sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling for training. She made her debut in June 13, 2006 as "Kelly", performing a striptease as her character was an exhibitionist. Her name was expanded to “Kelly Kelly” by Vince McMahon. Throughout her wrestling career, Kelly frequently switched between Raw and SmackDown. She moved to Raw in 2008 and challenged for WWE Divas Championship on various occasions. However she could not win any Divas Championship titles on her first engagement with Raw. Kelly moved to SmackDown in 2010 where she challenged LayCool for WWE Women's Championship title. She was again unsuccessful. After spending 1 year in SmackDown, Kelly returned to Raw in April, 2011. This time Kelly won her first and last WWE Divas Championship title. Kelly lost that title to Phoenix after 4 months of the victory that gave her the title. She was released by WWE in September 2012 and after that she made some appearances for Independent Circuit. Her first appearance for independent wrestling show came in December 4, 2012. She retired from professional wrestling in the same year. She has also featured in a music video by Timbaland and has appeared in various TV programs. It was announced in 2015 that, Blank will feature in upcoming TV reality series called "WAGS" for "E! Reality television". Blank was ranked number 38 in the famous Maxim’s Hot 100 list in 2012.
Mike Knox was Kelly’s on-screen boyfriend during her time with WWE. Blank previously was in a relationship with wrestler Andrew Martin. The relationship came to an end before the death of her ex-boyfriend; Martin. After that, Blank dated with ice hockey player Sheldon Souray and the couple got engaged in 2014. She does not have any children and she is not married as of 2015.
