Jordan Leggett is an American footballer who has played college football as a tight end at the Clemson University. He was born on January 31, 1995, in Navarre, Florida. Leggett has played various games during his career and was rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com. He was a finalist for the John Mackey Award during his junior year. He became one of the Clemson football team's offenses in 2015.
Early Life and Educational Career
Born and grew up in Navarre, he attended Navarre High School as the starting of his career. He played various games during his time in high school. Rivals.com rated him as a three-star recruit for his performances in the high school.
Leggett then moved to Clemson University in 2013 and started playing for the Clemson Tigers. He played 10 games, recording 10 receptions for 176 yards and two touchdowns as a true freshman. He continued playing 7 of 11 games and had 14 receptions for 161 yards and one touchdown during his second year in the university.
He was a finalist for the John Mackey Award as a junior in 2015. He led the team to win four bowl games and three BCS/New Year's Six Bowl. He has played two national championship games winning one in 2017.
Jordan has played at the Orange Bowl event as a freshman and had a victory over Ohio State in that match. He has also won the Russell Athletic Bowl during his second year in the match against Oklahoma. He had the consecutive victory in the Fiesta Bowl as a senior in a match against Ohio State. He only lost the National Championship Game against Alabama in 2015-2016.
He finished his career with 112 receptions for 1,598 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2,372 snaps over 51 games. He graduated from the university in 2016 with a degree in Parks, recreation and tourism management.
