She was born and raised in Bloomington, where she attended the Breck School. She completed her high school education graduating from there in 2007. She attended St. Olaf College where she was a basketball and softball player.

She moved to American University in 2009 and graduated in December 2011 with a degree in broadcasting and communications. She has hosted several shows for the school including "Eye on the Eagle". Eye on the Eagle is a 30-minute magazine show featured by the men's basketball team that aired on Comcast SportsNet Washington.

She joined New England Sports Network (NESN) as an anchor-reporter in October 2012. NESN was New England's most-watched sports network anchored by both Adam Pellerin and Jamie Erdahl. She filled-in on the sidelines for Jenny Dell during the Boston Red Sox season in 2013.

She was promoted to rinkside reporter in 2014, where she worked in-studio hosting NESN's 30-minute live news shows. She used to work as a freelance reporter at Fox Sports North before joining NESN. There she served as a live event sideline reporter on WNBA telecasts of the Minnesota Lynx.

She joined CBS sports after working with the NESN for several years and gaining lots of experience from her working career. She is currently working with CBS as a sideline reporter teaming with Greg Gumbel and Trent Green.
