Brandt Snedeker turned professional in 2004. From 2004 to 2006, he played on the Nationwide Tour. Due to his outstanding performance, in 2007, he honored by PGA Tour Rookie of the Year. In 2008, he secured 10th position in Mercedes-Benz Championship. Later, he also played at the FBR Open and PODS Championship.

The year 2009 was not fruitful for him due to his poor health conditions. He couldn’t win any titles. He suffered from the rib injury. After recovering from his injury, he returned to his game and positioned himself into top ten of Bob Hope Classic, Farmers Insurance Open and at Waste Management Phoenix Open. 

In the 2012 Open Championship, Snedeker finished with 73 and 74 to share 3rd place with Tiger Woods at three under par, four shots behind the winner, Ernie Els.

In 2012, he bagged his third PGA Tour Title at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. He scored 66 and 64 in the first two rounds to equal the lowest 36 hole score in the tournament by Nick Faldo in 1992.

This win made him entered into to the top 20 list of the Official World Golf Ranking. After a great victory at AT&T Pebble Beach National Program, he positioned at the 4th place in Official World Golf Rankings.

Additionally,  Snedeker shot the tenth sub-60 round in the history of the PGA Tour, firing an opening round 59 at the Wyndham Championship on August 16, 2018.
